Just like Chanel’s classic LBD, smoked salmon is a food perfect for all occasions which is why you’ll always find it on our menu here at Turpins! Whether you’re popping in for a business lunch, unwinding in our bar or celebrating something special it will certainly not disappoint. Its natural richness, with just the right amount of oak smoke always goes down a treat, especially when paired with a glass of our oaky Blackstone Chardonnay, or even for the extra special treatment try it with a glass of our Laurent-Perrier house champagne! On this week’s specials our chefs have created a wonderfully rich but also feather-light smoked salmon and chive mousse for you to enjoy with some homemade crostini, made using only the finest ingredients, locally sourced where possible. However, although we can find some of the world’s best food on our doorstep, Twycross is not so renowned for its salmon! Therefore we had to look further afield and we are proud to source our smoked salmon from the Severn and Wye smokery who also supply some of the world’s finest establishments including The Ritz, Fortnum and Mason, Claridges and not forgetting our sister restaurant San Giovanni to name a few!
